Perisher offers more than just skiing. There’s fireworks, festivals, and more!
There’s so much activity at Perisher throughout the snow season, you’re sure to find something you like. Not just at Perisher’s Front Valley, these events take place all over the resort.
Night skiing and Fireworks
Tuesday and Saturday nights between July and September will see Perisher light up with neon night skiing. Neon night skiing & boarding under lights at Perisher is an experience like no other. Dress up in your best neon gear every Tuesday and Saturday night from 30 June through to September. Front Valley will undergo a quick groom and then you can ski and board under lights from 6.00pm – 9.00pm on the Village Eight Express!

- FREE Night skiing/boarding for any child with a valid lift ticket
- FREE for Epic Pass holders (in 2020 to appropriately manage capacity, pass holders will need to register for night skiing through the Perisher online store).
Front Valley gets even brighter with a fantastic fireworks display from 7:20pm – fun and free entertainment for the whole family! (Weather permitting).
And not forgetting the littlest of skiers, Smiggin Holes will be open on Wednesday nights with Zoe’s Ski Carpet operating from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Perisher has an extensive network of groomed, undulating and sheltered trails that weave through the magical Snow Gums. Whether it’s a peaceful glide or a heart-pumping challenge, it’s your choice. Explore the winter wonderland & freedom of snow-shoeing with a short 3km walk through the Rock Creek valley to the base of the Mt Perisher Double Chair for a cappuchino or hot chocolate before wandering back down the hill returning to the Perisher Centre. Ride in one of Perisher’s $450,000 snow groomers on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 25 June to 24 September. A tour takes around an hour and takes place on Perisher’s Front Valley. The groomer will pick you up from the front of the Perisher Valley Hotel at 4.30pm, jump in and take a ride as the groomer lays down the corduroy. Book through the Perisher Valley Ticket Office before 3pm on the day of the tour. (maximum of 3 guests). $43 per person. (not available in 2020)
First Tracks Mornings
First Tracks Mornings are a special Perisher experience, and are exclusively offered to Epic Pass holders. Access Front Valley from 7.30am to 8.30am on Saturday & Sunday mornings before anyone else. Due to capacity restrictions on Ski Tube, First Tracks in 2020 is not available at Blue Cow. To appropriately manage capacity, pass holders will need to register for First Tracks through the Perisher online store
