  • Do I have to pay National Park entry?

    Yes, you will need to pay a National Park entry fee for each day you are in the park.  Click here to find out more about National Park Entry.

  • Do I need a lift ticket to ski/snowboard?

    Yes.  If you want to use the lifts to access Perisher Ski Resort you will need a valid lift ticket for each day you plan to ski or board.  Click here for more information on Perisher Lift Ticket options.

  • Are the rooms self contained?

    Our rooms are not self contained but they do have private en suites, central heating, tea & coffee making facilities and ski/board & drying racks plus plenty of storage. Have a look at our rooms page to find out more.

  • How do I get there?

  • How long does it take to get to Perisher?

    Ski Rider is just 11km’s from Perisher.  If you are driving your own car, there are free carparks at both Perisher and Smiggin Holes.  If you don’t want to drive, jump on the Ski Rider FREE guest shuttle for the 11km trip to Perisher.

  • Should I pre-book lift tickets?

  • Do I need snow chains?

    All 2WD vehicles are legally required to carry snow chains within the Kosciuszko National Park. AWD and 4WD vehicles are not required to carry them, but they are still recommended. Check out more on Snow chains.
